The trail to Forney Creek is 6.2 miles roundtrip. Trailhead begins at Clingman's Dome parking lot. Trail is steep and difficult. Parts of the trail are through water and moss coated rocks; other parts of the trail have narrow and overgrown footpaths with steep drop offs on the side. The falls above are from Campsite #68 spur trail a few feet from the main trail.
