Snowy Shingles

This is a throwaway image. I just liked the pattern of the shingles and snow. Cropped tightly to limit distractions.

Alastair,
We may get our first snow of the season in Tucson on Saturday - above 7000 ft. The peak in the Santa Rita's that I can see rises to 9400 ft, so we might get some snow caps.
We could also use the winter moisture.

I too like it. Before you toss it, I'd like to see a tighter crop to include the vent pipe and the black box along with just snowy shingles. I think you would see more interesting geometry that way.

I like it, though maybe not the reminder that we will probably get our first snow soon. It is very late this year. I can remember snow in late September in previous years (though it didn't stick around). We've had a very mild fall so far.
