So here I am tonight at the Colburn with the symphony orchestra behind my smiling face. What was interesting is that out of the whole audience, I was the only one rocking out...I had great forward balcony seats....but I am a person that doesn't
care about music at all ...yet I was the one having a great time (until my new Dick Tracy.ish watch informed me that my client and 10 month old baby had been kidnapped by the father...everyone held by Local police Dept so I had to leave...lol)
Still, a very good time, Variaciones Concertantes (1953) by Alberto Ginastera will get you rockin`. (but working tomorrow obviously)
I may be old and getting ready to die rag time piano-like...but I will leave a well documented trail.
