Touring these boats during the daytime is great fun. There are so many features and hardware to see and shoot.

There is a tour of about 8 ships, including a Russian Submarine (!), that looked pretty interesting and not too expensive either...alas, I was diving in La Jolla Cove till pretty late, (terrible visibility underwater! {but still a good time always in the ocean})...not the Star of India, but the Californian is apparently the ship that you can take to sea...since this was almost 9pm I passed on the tour.
