I love this image. It reminds me of here when we first built our home. The farm across the street had a herd of either Dutch Belt cows or Belted Galloways. I know they are totally different breeds (one milk producing and one beef producing), but I've never seen either one anywhere else than on that farm. I used to love seeing those cows (Only 4 houses away from ours) whenever I drove out of our development. They once were part of the everyday here. I now really miss them. Thank you for posting this image.

Lovely pastoral scene. Pretty cows they have markings similar to some of the hogs I have seen at the county fairs. Never have heard of this breed. v
