Blue Marble Clock

This is a clock I made in one of my classes. Beside the clock kit, it is made from large BLUE marbles, copper tubing, a stainless steel spoon (sans handle), a silver plated bowl and antique glass salt servers. I was going for a Michael Graves type thing.

Today I tried photographing in a fabric store, took a few photos, but felt self conscious. I'll have to try that kind of thing more often.

Cool pieces there. Did you use epoxy? I've done a bunch of clocks but they're all hand painted wood faces. Maybe you've given me a PAD, ha !!! Arty shot of art. I like it.

This is a really funky clock, Cheryl! WOW! Did you say you were starting up your own funky clock manufacturing biz ...? VERY cool design!

Awesome clock, good work, I can imagine it is quite loud. I like the lighting on this shot. I am like you with taking a camera into a store and taking pics, I have done it a few times, but no one was really around to say anything. I took a pic of a display at our county fair last week, and the lady at the booth asked me not to, saying that the pieces I was shooting are copyrighted, I just apologized and walked on. I don't know what the laws are with something like that, it is a public display, any ideas on this?

Wow, you made this?? It's neat. Nice angle to shoot it, too.
I want so badly to take the camera into a flower shop sometime, but I hesitate like you.

I recall how I felt when I decided I would like to photograph publically in a store..Pier I actually. It is intimidating and one is apt to wonder what would happen. Just do it with a I dont care who looks at me doing this attitude..it will become easier.

Interesting piece of artwork Cheryl. Very unique. Does it keep time? And too a good conversation piece.
