Monet's Water Garden

Giverny, France

Monet bought some land across the road from his house and dug a small pond. He continued
to expand until he had the water garden we see today. Monet was inspired for this garden
by Japanese gardens. The ponds are filled with his famous water lilies - although not here.

Such a tranquil and beautiful scene. I hope he had a gardener, or an army of them. V.
