This image shows the altar area decorated for the wedding mass.
The upper half-dome shows a magnificent 11th c. mosaic of Christ Pantocrator.
It can be seen up close by going up the stairs to the balcony level,
and activating lights, (with Euros), accessed by a "light box" nearby.
The arches to the left and right of the altar are entrances to the crypt below.
