Peep Hole

Andrew Haydon Park, Nepean (Ottawa) Ont. Canada

The mother of these eggs has been sitting on her nest since April 16th! Today one of her little ones decided to peek out. After 5 hours of me sitting with this mother and waiting I had to give up for the night! Have to wonder if the sound of the pouring rain put the little ones back to sleep! The peep hole was no larger when I left.

Great capture Cathrine. You are more patient than I would have been. Hope to see the next shots, after they emerge.
