The Carver Family & Beyond

Welcome to the Carver family extended web page. This page is created so that we may know and learn about one another. The Carver clan goes by many names, such as: Carver, Peak, Edward, harris, Efiom, Washington, Powell, Vandergrift, Garrett, Simpson, Baxter, Ross, Kegler, Weber, Jackson, and many more. Some of them I don'e even know yet. I will post pictures, of children, grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Aunts & Uncles, as well as spouses and in-laws. We will post pictures, from past & present. My name is also Miles Carver. The Carver name is of Scottish heritage I believe. My family members are all white(that I know of). The Carvers in my family hail from Youngstown, Ohio. I hope all Americans can start being open & honest our our heritage. I'm sure it will bring us closer together.

I don't have a lot of suggestions. I have been working on my family tre for abouot 15 years. The Carver name for my family, is from my fathers side of the family. Most of what I have been able to find was that they were from Orangeburg, SC. Everyone was Black until the 70's and 80's when there were a number of interacial marriages. I do have relatives, that we believe some were part White, but because of the times, this never got out, and the name was not Carver, as they were an my fathers maternal side.

intersting,, my moms maiden name was Carver, as far as i know, they were all white. We are in St Louis, Mo. Any ideas?
