Lucky the moth!

Found this little fella in the grass after I nearly trod on him it was nearly dark!
I dont know what species he is so if anyone knows please let me know!

Very similar to our "Rosy Maple Moth", but the colors are wrong. It has the same furry type head, and destructive to trees, maple, or course. You might have a look through Linda Buckells' moths for an ID, as she's across the pond. But it might possibly be in the same species as ours, just a different subfamily. I've learned long ago though, you can never be too sure. Nice shot, btw. Hope to see more this season. ;-)
