I know these swans are kind of tiny. I was using my new Nikon D300 with the grip, 300mm lens and 1.7 TC, handheld. I thought I was shooting snow geese taking off from the main pool. When I magnified the image at home, imagine my surprise when they turned out to be swans! I'm not sure if they are tundra or whistling, we get them both.
