Double Rainbow

It had been a day of rain and ice pellets. I was watching TV when I noticed the sun had come out. That meant rainbow, since it was also pouring outside again. For once I grabbed my camera and keys and drove to some nearby farm land. The rainbow held for quite a while. I was working from within my car with the camera on a window mount taking shots I might be able to use for a panorama. I really wished that I had brought my 12-24mm lens. I could have done a pano with 2 shots! The camera of course was getting wet. I'd have to wipe the lens every so often since the cars that went by splashed water on the lens. It was my first attempt to get the whole rainbow and not from my sunroom or front porch. I like it much better without the neighbors houses in the shot. The rainbow was just beautiful and the ends were in the fields. Now, if I'd just found that pot of gold.
