As stated previously, it has been more than 10 years since Marv Hedberg and Roland Morrison started the concept of building this model. It was built entirely from "scratch" ... NO castings (except for the flywheels); in other words, the entire model was fabricated.

After more than 10 years of hard work, they are now able to offer this model to the public. The castings are of grade 30 iron, cast steel, and silicon bronze. All are of lost wax with exact detail and even have the casting number, just like the original. Even the fuel mixer is scaled from the original. Bore is 1.75, flywheels 11.5 dia., stroke .938 x 2, weight is "heavy".

After 10 finished, running engines are sold, Morrison and Marvin will be offering a VERY LIMITED number of casting sets to "qualified" builders.
