Eastern Bluebird

It's always a special joy to see a Bluebird.
When I was a kid I could only dream of seeing one.
Once as plentiful as Robins, my Dad often lamented their apparent loss.
Today they are listed as a species of Least Concern.

It's a beauty. We didn't have bluebirds when I was growing up in Western Massachusetts, either. It's great to see them now. This is a wonderful image of this one.
