I used to own this lens. Lured by a positive review in one of magazines in the 90ties I took it for its extraordinary small size, and for the low price of course, but in fact the lens proven to be the worse piece of equipment I ever owned. And, once your images are made, they cannot be undone. See on my pages e.g. the Fleet Week 1997 gallery, a unique collection of substandard images spoiled by using a substandard lens. Poor contrast, poor resolution. Stay away from such glass! Spend more, even if it hurts, but take a better glass, and you thank yourself for as long you will watch your images! And that might be... "for life."!

Astonishing small for its focal length, but unfortunately there is a price to pay for this compact size: Above 300mm lens has significant loss of contrast and sharpness. Also vigneting is very annoying.
