M27 - The Dumbbell Nebula

Dark skies with the new moon, so we went to the Oakridge observatories to photograph a lot of
deep sky objects. Nice to work with a GOTO telescope to find these objects.

Here is a nice colorful planetary nebula taken late last night and processed today.

Applied the "Black Pen" tool in Nikon Capture Editor s/w to darken the background.

And now if you will excuse me, I need to catch some ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
