Smoke Plume?

view map

The Bear fire is raging closer to home in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

The cooler weather and less winds is helping contain this fire, but there are still evacuations for the neighborhoods in Boulder Creek.

Hopefully, the expected light rains later this week will help put this fire down.

Taken last evening at McClellan Ranch.

This has sure been the year for natural disasters for the U.S.

An ominous looking sky. We've been fortunate so far, but like Nick said, we have another Santa Ana moving in early next week.

Have been following on the news- the devastation is unbelievable. Hot weather and Santa Annas moving in here next week, so fingers crossed.

if only you had the torrential downpours that hit up here today...that would soak down the countryside...certainly looks like a sky in turmoil here..

That’s a terrible situation, Bryan. Hopefully you get rain soon.
