For some reason, there have been more Juvenile Bald Eagles migrating through Western Missouri this winter than Adults. Some speculate that this may be because the Eagle population is increasing. However, the over all Eagle count has been down in this part of the state - possibly because of weather.

This youngster may be one of the young Eagles born at Squaw Creek last year.
