One of the hibiscus survivors in yesterday's photo https://pbase.com/britestar/image/172619987 actually is in bloom. Just one day ago, I didn't think that would be at all possible this Summer. But today, I got a surprise. It's a very old plant that I bought eons ago at Lowes. She goes back to at least 2009. How funny to see that the least expensive, most common hibiscus of the group has proved to have the best survival skills. I didn't even notice a bud on her yesterday, but here is the flower anyhow.
