May Day has its roots in astronomy. Traditionally, it was the halfway point between the spring equinox and the summer solstice! In the USA and parts of Europe, the day is still celebrated as a Springtime event with many festivals.

Rainy outdoors, we spent the day this year with my mom and her Chihuahuas indoors. Although not the planned celebration of Nature, it was a very good day. Diamond is an 8th generation Champion Chihuahua that I bred. She's now my mother's furbaby.
