CANADIAN ROCKIES / Spring 2014

The Canadian Rockies comprise the Canadian segment of the North American Rocky Mountains range. Located the eastern part of the Canadian Cordillera, extending from the Interior Plains of Alberta to the Rocky Mountain Trench of British Columbia. Made of shale and limestone and tipped with sparkling white snow, they’re so beautiful. UNESCO announced it became a World Heritage site. They are a traveler's wonderland. Banff and Jasper National Parks are connected by the Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic drives in the world. To me visiting the Rockies was an unforgettable adventure amid the snowcapped peaks in Banff, Yoho and Jasper National Parks, explore a stunning wilderness of hanging glaciers, rushing rivers,jewel-toned lakes and the wildlife. I love mountains,all mountains but the Canadian Rockies for sure are one of my favorites.
