Double Cluster

Autofocus with FocusMax, 5-minute guided image,
binned 1x1 (STL-11000). Unlike the previous image, here the
stars on the left seem slightly elongated vertically,
while those on the right are seriously elongated horizontally.
CCDInspector measures collimation error as 4.5", with
curvature of 50%! Perhaps this plus the distorted stars on the
right are caused by miscollimation of the primary, which I
have not yet tried to correct, though I suspect that the main
problem is that FocusMax is not accurately reaching focus.
