NGC 7380 (Sharpless 2-142)

Located in the constellation Cepheus, NGC 7380 is formed by
the young stars of a new cluster causing the gas around them
to glow under their radiation and eroding that gas and dust into
the shapes of this nebula. The rounded white spot at the upper center
may be a highly energetic Wolf-Rayet star beginning to form its
characteristic bubble. NGC 7380 is about 110 light years across, and
7000 light years from earth.
