Cat's Paw Nebula (NGC 6334)

The Cat's Paw Nebula is located toward the center of
our galaxy, and is a complex area of interstellar gas
and dust and the place where new stars are being formed.
It appears near the stinger in the constellation Scorpius.
This stellar nursery is about 50 light years across, and
5500 light years from earth.
