I was photographing several bees and flies on this Ericameria plant when the Running Crab Spider suddenly appeared on top of the bush. Most insects fled immediately and the others left as the spider tried to approach. The spider pranced around the top of the blossoms allowing for these shots. It finally settled in to wait.
