night magic

The long night time exposure on the tripod tames the waves into a smooth blur and the colors go surreal from the pier lights. This is the same pier and similar POV as the daytime mono I put up last week: http://www.pbase.com/billinchapelhill/image/105494957.

The rendering of the colors is quite uncommon, rich as for the long exposures. Strong composition too.
