Interesting, fish here is usually trout, served whole.

We have fairly good Fish and Chips here at the Princess Pub who claim they are the best Pub in the world and they're located in the Little Italy section of San Diego. LOL.

Ultimate comfort food. In Kingston, the Pilot House stakes it reputation on fish and chips.

Oh yes! Now you're talking!!! I had some of the freshest fish n chips ever in Kirkwall during the summer hols - fish landed in the afternoon and were on our plates by 18:00 :o))) Great shot Bernard, these guys don't look too greasy either....you're making me hungry!

It's a popular thing down here too...fish & chips on Friday night is almost tradition !! They're only greasy if the person cooking them hasn't a clue, but most owners could do them with their eyes shut...these look delicious.

Fish and chips so yummy. We go to Ivar's when in Seattle for them.

Nice shot of such a yummy treat!
There is a FABULOUS English pub in Coatesville, PA called The Whip Tavern that makes the BEST fish & chips in the world as well as other British goodies. They also have an excellent selection of beers too - Banana Bread beer is to die for! To visit The Whip Tavern: http://www.whiptavern.com/

There is a place here that serves them but it isn't very good...was way to greasy for my tastes. This looks pretty good, though! Thought they served them in newspaper!

I live in Pennsylvania and unlike Lynn .... I can't find authentic Fish and Chip anywhere in Schuylkill County!
The only fish that I eat in this region is the fish that I prepare at home. Every time I've ordered fish in a restaurant it has been to stinky to eat. Nice capture Bernard!

OMG - My favorite meal in the whole wide world and something I cannot find here in south Texas. When I lived in Pennsylvania, we could always find "real" fish and chips. Love em with vinegar!
