Lighthouse and Wreck

What lousy weather today. A short walk along the coast near Barn's Ness lighthouse and took only two photographs.
I do not know that this wreck is - part of a ship or an old pier - but it was heavily built as you can see from the size of the shackles and bolts.

Great foreboding image. Wreck to remind why lighthouses are needed. The dark, gloomy sky adds to the effect.
