Cottage by the Sea

Cove

Cove is a small harbour in the Scottish Borders, and a lovely spot for a cliff-top walk.
Down in the harbour are some old fisherman's cottages, some are now holiday homes.
But the harbour is still in use by a couple of small fishing boats.

Bill, are you thinking about retiring? Looks like a cozy place close to the sea. V.

All three images capture the slow relaxed pace of harbor life.

Fine capture, at least they are being used and not left to decay.

Great use of DOF in this scene to give the viewer a good sense of the buildings in the background without them stealing the show. V

What a contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city. It looks like a great place to go for a rest. Not sure how long I could stay. :) V

What a great composition, and a very appropriate foreground for fishermen's cottages.
