Aberlady Bay is local nature reserve, and during autumn and winter nights it is home to many thousands of migrating pink-footed geese.
I wish this picture had sound, because the air was filled with honking of geese as they fly in from the surrounding fields.
I like to watch nature programmes and see the plains of Africa or Asia, but we sometimes forget the natural marvels on our own doorstep.
