Tantallon Castle

Seacliff

The remains of this medieval castle stand on the cliffs, just along the coast from my home town.
The curtain wall (still standing) dates from the 14th century when the castle was built.
The castle was destroyed by Oliver Cromwell's army during a siege in 1651.
