The Law is the hill overlooking town. It is the remnant of an ancient volcano and stands about 200m tall.
This morning I walked to the top, with a flask of coffee, and then back through fields to the town.
On the way back I managed this view which is one I have wanted for some time, with the remains of an old defensive peel tower standing in the rape field.
The middle of the smaller pictures is a panoramic view over the town from the top of the Law.
