Northern Summer Sky - The Oaks

The Oaks, Sydney, Australia view map

A long exposure reveals the thin cloud cover in the Northern sky.
The Earth rotates 1 deg every 4 min, so during this image
taken in 0.5 min the Earth rotated 1/8 of a degree. The
stars therefore become slight dashes seen when pixel popping.
There was no moon but the city light is evident to the right.
Taken at 10pm Sydney Daylight Saving Time

Hi Gary, thanks for posting the comparison of the southern sky from the northern hemisphere. Does this prove the earth is spherical?

Not only is your sky upside-down from mine, your view to the north is my south. Nice photo by the way.
