This impressive glacier, about 150 km south-west of Scoresbysund, with its prominent lateral and medial moraines, looked like an arctic superhighway from the air. Greenland has the fastest moving glaciers in the world – the fastest being recorded at 12.6 km a year – that’s about 35 metres a day or 1.5 metres an hour.
