Laguna Beach is a seaside resort and artist community located in southern Orange County, California.
It is known for having some of the most beautiful beaches and homes in southern California. The city is also known for its hotels, unique shops, restaurants, world famous art galleries, and art festivals.

A Colorful Past...
Many artists and writers have lived or spent time in Laguna. Tennessee Williams spent a few summers here in his heyday.

Laguna Beach was also the point of origin and base of operations for the Brotherhood of Eternal Love (The Laguna Brotherhood) in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Timothy Leary lived with and acted as a spiritual guide to the Brotherhood, until his arrest for possession of marijuana.

In the late 60's, part of the main drag along Pacific Coast Hwy consisted of music stores & 'head shops' that catered to the hippie & drug culture of south Orange County.
