Usually, in Indonesia we make "tape" by using glutinious rice or cassava.
But here, i learned from my friends who come from Aceh, that we can make tape by using rice.
We can enjoy tape as is or use it for making kue mangkok, kue apem or puding tape.
Don't forget to use fresh rice not leftover rice to make tape!!
Ingredients:
600 gr rice (is already cooked)
2 ragi tape
How to:
Take the rice as needed and let it cool.
Grind ragi tape and mix it with the cooled rice.
Place rice in a closed container.
Keep store for 3 days in dark and warm place until rice is fermented.
