Some older pictures, taken years ago with a Sony Mavica camera.
The pictures are made in the Falconry centre in Sussex.
I believe that they are Eagle owls, Turkestan Eagle Owl and Bengal Eagle Owl.
One of them was named Eddie, and was quite a performer.
Every day at noon he gave together with his handler a special show.
It was easy to get close to him to take a picture, he only had eyes for his handler. Waiting to get some flying exercise.
If you ever get in Sussex, the Sussex Falconry Centre lies to the south of Chichester, 2 miles from the A27 on the A286 Bracklesham/Wittering Road opposite the Chichester Yacht Marina in Wophams Lane. The entrance to the centre is through Locksacre Aquatic Nursery.
