They were already limiting the amount of travertines that people could frolic in.
Hotels are able to use some of the excess at times. Read the note from Karyn -
a Pamukkale resident, at the bottom of the page at

She explains how it all works. I'll try to find out whether they are limiting
tourists any more than they did when we were there. I don't think so, as they
depend on tourists and this is the main attraction. If you find anything definite
please let us know. Thanks.

This is GORGEOUS, i've wanted to go here for a long time. I just read that people are no longer allowed in ... i wonder if it means not the way it used to be with the locals all over it and in the pools ... or if it actually means not even tourists on a limited pathway? I've wanted to see this place ever since i knew it existed and would be so disappointed if i couldn't walk in amongst it all.
