Another comparison of gray screens

CELLPHONE photos (Samsung) in Berkeley, Calif.

Of course my focus, with this short depth of field, was favoring the Kindle.

The Sony is very sharp, actually, though the characters are very small.

I'm a bit late on this reply, as I missed it! Anyway, this Sony PRS505 doesn't have a
touch screen, which is why it's very clear. The Sony PRS600 and new Daily Edition do
have touchscreens but reviews say it hurts readability as the touchscreens are layered
over the e-ink display.

The buttons on the right are navigational and probably second nature to Sony owners
but they were/are a mystery to me.

Industrial look? Yes. In fact, it reminds me of a little robot!

Wow - I really like the industrial look of the Sony, even though you made it look worse. And of course I love that it has a touch screen and no keyboard. What are the buttons on the right of the screen for?
