All of these masks are used to perform stories from the Ramayana a Sanskrit Epic poem

The five masks mounted on poles in the center are the main characters and are from left:
Hanuman, a Monkey General; Sinta a Princess; Rahwana, a Demon King; Rama, a Prince and Lakshmana the brother of the Prince
