Here charters or organized group trips can be arranged anywhere from a day or two to over 20 days in length. The boats go as far as the Revillagigedo Islands over 1,000 miles away.
Most of the fishing is in Mexican and International Waters. Larger boats such as the Shogun can sleep up to thirty Fishermen and have many different amenities on board.
Fishing is year round, but types of catches are seasonal. This time of year is the season for longer trips and Yellowfin Tuna and Wahoo weighing 100 lbs to 300 lbs+ are the main catch.
During other times of year Albacore, Amberjack, Bluefin Tuna, Dorado, Grouper, Halibut, Mahi, Marlin and White Sea Bass can be caught.
Fishing is strictly regulated as to amounts that may be caught and some types of fish, such as Marlin must be released.
