New monument created which was placed in the cathedral's square in December 2016. It honours the subjects of a sad story written in the late 19th century which has become quite famous, especially for some reason, in Japan & Korea! In Belgium it has been made into a TV series and a film. The story ends with the boy and his dog perishing from the cold in the cathedral on Christmas Eve night, and they were buried in the square, in the shadow of Antwerp's Cathedral.
