The Chao Phraya River is the window to Bangkok's life. A trip down the river reveals Bangkok old and new.
This is obviously not taken today. This image made me think how governments often avoid the real issues by simply hiding them. When APEC delegates came to Bangkok in October 2003 these huge continuous billboards hid the way the real Thai people lived along the river. Is this what the political leadership of the world saw of Bangkok?
