The wedding of Nicole, who works with Donna in the Social Work department at Cal State, Chico, and her beau Jake, was a magical affair on Sept. 4, 2010. The Centerville Estates setting is am idyllic spot and each aspect of the wedding was offered with beauty and class, including neat table cards that told guests that, at the urging of the couple's dogs, in lieu of party favors a donation was being made to the Butte Humane Society. The kicker is that of approximately 150 guests, Donna and I were the ONLY ones who arrived at the site from above, rolling came DOWN the treacherous gravel Centerville Road from upper Magalia to get there. :-) Images by Alan Sheckter / AlSheck@comcast.net
