A week later we went back to the Praca do Comercio where there was a group of kids singing on the street to celebrate a local holiday.I was so taken by their music and the girl, Alexandra’s singing (who sounded like Joan Baez only better) that I asked them if they had a CD to sell. Rafael told me that the agreement they made with the city said they could not sell CDs that night; however, if I wanted to come back and meet him there the next day he would have a CD for us. We went back the next day, got our CD, had lunch with Rafael and Alexandra soon became good friends. We then invited them to come out to Tamure for an afternoon sail.
