Ho boy, here we go again. Now in its 15th year, Sculptures By The Sea is an exhibition of sculptures has been arranged along the coastal walk from Bondi Beach to Tamarama Beach to the south. The one last year occupied many weeks of Photoshop / Bridge time before I finally finished the gallery.
This year I promised myself that I'd throttle back on the photographing. Because I had only one trip out there this year (from around dawn to 8am on the last Saturday of the just-under 3 week exhibition), I considered calling a halt when I reached the downhill section around Mackenzie's Bay and giving Tamarama a miss. Then I thought "Oh what the hey, wander around to the headland just to see what's down there."
Naturally some of the more interesting sculptures were. So I hauled myself down there, shot what I needed to, then tried to book it back to the car before the free parking ran out, ending up drenched with sweat and arriving some 15 minutes late but thankfully without a ticket.
Obviously this gallery is under construction... and will be for some time to come. I'm doing these in catalog number order so the newest shots will normally be at the bottom.
