I spotted this ancient steam ship as we rounded the spit of land on which the Ponte Della Dogana sits. (The building of which forms the background, with the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute off to the left.)
My best efforts to identify it have failed, not that I had much to work with. How old is it? I'm not sure but it has been a long, LONG time since a steamship was built with masts. My best guess is that it was early 1900's, probably no later than 1920.
