I realize that it is probably cheaper for the developer to destroy all the trees by flattening the landscape before building new homes with no shade at all, but this is pathetic. This looks like a mini-Sahara desert and how local governments can allow this is pitiful. How anyone in the USA can complain about the Amazon jungle disappearing when this is allowed to happen in our own country is beyond me.
