Bhutan is a peaceful and spiritual oasis lying in the heart of the Eastern Himalayas , it's simply magical. Travel in Bhutan is one of the most unique tourism experience in the world. The new brand name for Bhutan Tourism : “ Bhutan – Happiness is a Place “ couldn't be better chosen to present the Kingdom.
The tourism in Bhutan is managed by ministry of tourism. The regulation which makes traveling in Bhutan unique is the fact that you can only travel to Bhutan through government licensed tour operators.There is no pricing competition in-between various operators as government set the fixed prices. Under this regulation base tariff is 250 USD per day, which covers stay, transportation, meals, tour guide, visa fees and royalty.
If anyone is planning a trip to Bhutan, I strongly recommend "Keys to Bhutan" (www.keystobhutan.com) as tour operator. Anan and his staff manage to meet perfectly all my needs, in my case especially as a photographer. Very professional, attentive and helpful service from start to end.

Great. Bhutan has the most polite children I've encountered in over twenty years travel. Of course the fact that in poles, people here are generally happier than most countries helps a lot. A very pleasant destination!
